# MCP server

`https://api.tickermint.cards/mcp`: streamable HTTP, read-only, no auth, no key. Tools: search_cards, card_price, price_history, graded_price, market_index, most_valuable, movers, all_time_highs, all_time_lows, sealed_prices, set_prices, plus search/fetch. Every result carries the card page URL, the source and the price date. Callers other than ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity get 300 tool calls a day.

## MCP or REST?

Use the MCP server while you work: ask your agent for a card's price, history or this week's movers, and it answers from TickerMint's data. Use the REST API (https://api.tickermint.cards, https://tickermint.cards/docs/quickstart.md) inside the app you are building: the MCP server is for assistants, not for serving your users. Building for others makes it commercial use (https://tickermint.cards/docs/pricing.md).
