Mewtwo Star Prints New ATH, Mini Tins Take It on the Chin

Mewtwo Star (EX Holon Phantoms) set a new all-time high at $9200.00, old holo still finding bids two decades out. Snorlax Lv.X also broke its ceiling at $999.99, up +66.7% on the week off a 14-listing book, enough depth to take seriously. The ME: 30th Celebration Mini Tin line is the other story this morning: seven SKUs, Zapdos, Lapras, Mew, Greninja, Espeon, Night Pikachu, Mewtwo, Day Pikachu, all down between -43.9% and -53.5%, every single one flagged thin book on a 4-listing float. Call it noisy repricing in a shallow market, not a verdict on the set. Three reverse holos, Stunfisk, Whiscash, Cleffa, posted gains of +105.3%, +94.4%, and +91.1% respectively, but each carries a solo-variant move flag: only that printing moved while its siblings sat still, the usual signature of a repricing artifact rather than real demand. Asako Ito remains the artist premium outlier at 11.57x across 37 cards.

Movers worth a sentence

• Celebi Prism Star (Lost Thunder) +105.2% on a 19-listing book, the deepest float among this week's gainers.
• Altaria (Boundaries Crossed) +92.5% but flagged thin book at depth 4, provisional until more listings show up.
• Empoleon (Plasma Freeze) +27.8% day spike, also thin book at depth 5.
• Mew ex 066/128 (30th Celebration) -45.6%, but on a 969-listing book, the rare loser in this group backed by real liquidity.
